Two players who tied for first would share the title, while in the case of a tie between three or more players, a tie-break (Buchholz; Median Buchholz; Direct Encounter; Average rating of opponents cut 1, 2, 3, etc., per ICU 1990 rules) would apply to determine a single champion.
