I was hoping a KID would do well with c4 omitted by white. 3. e4 d6 4. Nf3 Bg7 5. Be2 O-O 6. O-O Nbd7 7. Bf4 Nh5 8. Be3 e5 9. dxe5 dxe5 10. Qd2 c6 11. a4 Qc7 to guard the d6 square and bolster Pe5 12. g3 to prevent ...Nf5, which was my intended next move. 12... Ndf6 13. Rfd1 Bg4 14. Ne1 Rfd8 to gain a tempo to develop the R. very sound defensive play limiting my options. 16... Ne8 17. Qe1 Nd6?! 18. b3 18. Nc5 works and prevents ...Nc4 as Nxe3 removes its defender. 18... b6 perhaps over-cautious, to give my Ra8 mobility after I play ...f5. 19. a5 f5 20. axb6 axb6 21. Rxa8 Rxa8 22. Ra1 Qb7?? after this slip up my position falls apart. 22... Rxa1 23. Qxa1 Qb7 was preferable and does not gift a valuable pawn. 24... fxe4 25. fxe4 Nf6 26. Nxe5 Nfxe4 looks interesting 25. Bf2 Nf7 26. Nc5 Bc8 27. Bc4 Qd6 28. Qa1 Bf8 29. Qa8 my pieces are all passive and I have no real threats while White is all over me. 29... Qd2 30. Qxc8 Kg7 31. Ne6+ Kf6 32. Nxf8 Black resigned 32.
