(Added June 11, 2015:) N.B. The New Winawer Report will now take a break. Volume 3 will be delayed until January 2016 at the earliest: it is now taking more time than I have available. However I’ll certainly keep assembling material, so I would be very interested in any games or analysis. Please email me at the address above.

(Added January 4, 2016:) After some soul-searching, I’ve decided not to continue with new issues of The New Winawer Report. I enjoyed putting it together, and hope you enjoyed reading it—and many thanks to those who emailed to say that they did—but it required a significant time investment, which I can no longer manage. My new rough plan is to produce something in a different format at some stage, still very much undetermined. To this end I’m continuing to assemble material. I still plan to publish contents and indexes for Volume 2 of The New Winawer Report, and of course I’ll maintain all the material on this page indefinitely.

Note: The “alt-pdf” file consists of the same text, but arranged so as to be printed onto a single leaf of A4 paper. That is, each page (in either version) is of size A5, so that the four pages fit onto a single A4 sheet. This is the basis of the print version (and indeed there is now a print version; though with few copies).

Note: While the pdf files may be read via browsers, the resolution seems to suffer. For a higher resolution, it is better to download the pdf document and open it directly.

For John Knudsen’s newsletter The Winawer Report, the full archives are available.

Errata.
